Hi,

We are designing a 48V, 350A (RMS current) ACIM controller. Do you have any documents that I can use for the DC link capacitor calculation? Right now I have used 20 capacitors of 2.5A each with a value of 820uF. Can you help me out with the calculation?

Hello Binil,

TI has a large selection of TI reference designs many of which cover the calculation of component values. The link to the TI reference designs can be found below.

In the selection fields enter industrial, then motor drives to filter to this major category. You can do additional filtering beyond that.
