Hi Ti!!!

I have a design with the PMIC TPS6521815RSLR. The TPS6521815RSLR not generate the voltages.

I did not program the TPS6521815RSLR via I2C.

I need to program anything via I2C to the TPS6521815RSLR for it works?

Can you please share your schematic or a block diagram showing the power architecture of your system?

What SoC (Processor, FPGA) are you powering with the TPS6521815?

Yes, you need to re-program the IC before the power-up sequence executes. This device has "blank EEPROM", which means that it is programmed but all of the DCDCx and LDO1 regulators are disconnected from the sequencer (Registers 0x22 through 0x26, SEQ3-SEQ7 = 0x00).

If you are powering AM437x with TPS65218xx PMIC, you should be using TPS65218D0 that is pre-programmed for compatibility with the Sitara AM437x and AM335x processors.

Thank yuoo very much for your answer, It is very important for our companny, we are with a urgent production and we has this problem.

A question please:

If I replace my chip TPS6521815 for the chip TPS65218D0, then I not need reprogram via I2C? These both chip are pin-compatible?

With TPS65218D0 will be it generate all the supply voltages without required previous programming via I2C?

Correct. Replace TPS6521815 IC with TPS65218D0 IC as they are p2p compatible.

TPS65218D0 does not need to be programmed via I2C to work with AM437x :-)
