My customer is facing unexpected shutdown issue on their product evaluation using TPS2596.
On their board, Ilim is set to around 1.9A with 475Ω resister but it seems that their system got shutdown at around 1.6A load.
They can see 0.48V as Vlim at the shutdown timing and it kept less than 600mV. I understand that the Current limit should not have been triggered yet either at this voltage. So I can't explain why the shutdown event has occurred.
Could you tell me what they need to check to understand what's going on their system?
