The spec. SLIS132A for TPS55065 is calling for an external Schottky diode with voltage drop 0.4V @ 1A @ 125degC. SLIS132A –OCTOBER 2008–REVISED MARCH 2015 does not provide any more details about the diode selection.
SLIU003 is referring to diode 30BQ100 from IR that does not fulfill the req. defined in SLIS132A. Please see attached the characteristic of 30BQ100 below.
Could you please provide more details about the diode function in the circuit and more specific requirements that allow selection of the diode type with respect of technical and economical aspects?
