- UCD has AMON, EN, MAR, DMON and GPIOs.
- AMON will be used for voltage monitoring
- EN as ON/OFF of DC-DC parts ( for sequencing)
- MAR for marginal testing ( like increasing and descreasing the Voltage o/p of DC-DC parts)
- DMON for digital monitoring ( Power GOOD of DC-DC part can be connected to DMON)
- GPIO as its name suggests General purpose input/output Pins.
If my above understanding is correct then below is my querry.
I have around 15 DC-DC parts in design, But the DMON pins are only 8 nos in package and part which I am using, So the remaining PGOODs if connected to GPI pins, can they be grouped for a power rail to enable conditional sequencing?
Second related clarification , how are DMON pins different than a normal GPIO?, Infact all the pins except AMONs can be configured as GPIOs even DMON pins also, right? Can any GPIO pins not be configured to be used as DMON pins?
