Hello,

Is there a smaller version of the TPS6521815 available by chance? We need a PMIC which has:

  • (1) Buck/Boost
  • (1-2) Buck
  • (2-4) LDOs

This part is a little larger than what we have room for, so wondering if there is a smaller version- perhaps without so many DC-DC.

    Can you provide some more information about your use case? What input voltage and output voltage/current levels are you looking for on each of those rails?

    Hi Layne,

    This is for a mobile recording device. We need to have a buck/boost output around 3.4-3.5V at 1.5A, a buck regulator at 2.2V at 500mA, a 1.8V LDO at 180mA, and a 2.5V LDO at 20mA.

    Hi Cody,

    I am not coming up with any parts smaller than TPS6521815 than incorporate a buck/boost architecture, however we do have LP8732 available. This device has 2 bucks, 2 LDOs. If you chose to go with this device you could use a Boost regulator as a pre-regulator if needed, although this may not end up being any smaller than TPS6521815 at the end of the day. You could also look into TPS65023, although this device would be bigger than LP8732 and would also require a boost as a pre-regulator.
