Hi,

I am using the TPS63802 in a low power design. I tested the TPS63802 with a power supply for Vin and a constant current load of 5mA.

My measured values are:

3.7	5.7	3.353	5	0.794927

Is there something I need to changed to get the higher efficiency numbers? I was expecting numbers in the 90%.

Hi Katherine:

May I know the setup about your test? Do you use the EVM or not? If not, please share the schematic and inductance spec with us.

We have measured in our lab, and the efficiency is around 90% (Vin>3V, Vout=3.3V, Io=5mA), as shown in datasheet first page.

Hi,

For the tests I performed above I used the EVM. I have a power supply for Vin. I use a DMM to measure the input current Cin. I have a constant current load of 5mA. And I use that for the Cout and Vout measurements.

How do you test it?
