Hello,

I am hoping to use the bqEASY facility to generate a golden .dfi file for calibration of my bq27500 fuel gauge but in production I would like to flash the fuel gauge using our own processor.

From what I have read I have gathered this is possible using a .dffs or .bqfs file and these can be generated using TI's FlashStream tool which is not publicly available. Could I please be sent the FlashStream tool and any related documentation. Could I also please request any example code that can be used to read these files and program fuel gauge chip.

Hi Dominik,

Thank you for your answer. Can you please advise then if there is any way to configure a fuel gauge using our host processor or is this not possible?

Hello Amy,

Yes, you can follow the TRM section on how to change DF values for the items you want to change.

There's also a bqfs file which you can load. Reference "going to production with the bq275xx" application note as a reference.
