LM27762: Light load operation of LM27762

Hi team,

My customer is using our LM27762 for a light load (around 10mA , ripple concern circuit).

And, it seems that LM27762 will enter into PFM mode which is not good for signal chain load. Customer is asking whether there is way to maintain LM27762 at 2MHz switching frequency at light load.

    Hi Feng,

    The LM27762 will enter PFM mode at 10mA and this device does not have a forced PWM mode. 

    Nevertheless, I have a suggestion. The switching frequency is dependent on the capacitance of the flying capacitor. If the customer uses a high value then it is more likely to get a lower frequency. I would suggest to pick the lowest possible value for the flying capacitor. But since the Iout is only 10mA, it could be challenging. But they could try.
