Hi team,

Can you let me know the minimum pwm dimming duty cycle and the dimming accuracy? Target PWM dimming freq is ~200Hz.

    Hi Dongbao,

    It depends on the switching frequency of the part and the control loop BW so it's a system level design.  The way you can think about PWM'ing is when the PWM is first ON there needs to be time for the loop to ramp up to get to commanded current and for the loop to sample that current and get to stable steady state .  In general, there can be about 4-5 switching cycle for the loop to get to commanded current and about 4-5 cycles switching cycles for the loop to sample and be stable.  You will need to monitor the output current with a current probe and test for this.
