Hi TI team,
It is mentioned in the datasheet low side Rds-on is 5.9mohm(typ), and 8mohm(max). May I know the minium value?
Regards

Hi
May I know why you need this value ?
and please share me your mail address to young-zhao@ti.com, for the production distribution for your reference .
best regards,

Hi,
We are using TPS53515 with the following condition
Iocp(typ) = 7.4 A ( Rds = 8 mohm)
Iocp(max) = 10.5 A ( Rds = 5.9 ohm)
Our application is approximately 5A ~ 6A. We want to make sure it below Iocp(min).
Regards.
Hi Zhao,
Ok I misunderstood the condition.
The above Iocp with Rds = 8mohm is the minimum Iocp.
Thanx for clarification.
Hi Young I have another question,
How can I relate the Iocl below with ocp?
The current limit threshold seems to differ about 15 ~ 20%. If I want to calculate the worst ocp with Rds = 8mΩ, do I still need to reduce it 20 % further to get the correct worst value?
Regards
Hi ,
TRIP pin is the OCL detection threshold setting pin thanks to the internal 10uA current source to set the OCL trip voltage.
The IOCL value is shown as the spec data with specific value resistor. The variation mostly comes from the different Iripple in Equation 5.
No need to reduce 20% if the application is set(VIN,VOUT,IOUT,L..).
BRs,
Young
