Hi team,

I want to know PMP40261 bridgeless PFC use UCC28070, it's work in interleave condition?

Hi Jimmy,

This design is a semi-bridgeless PFC. The way that it works is that one of the boost converters is active during the positive side of the sine wave. The other boost converter is active during the negative half of the sine wave.

So they don't truly act as interleaved. Only one converter is active at a time.

Hi Jimmy,

Yes the choke/power stage will need to handle the full power electrically, but thermally only half the power.
