BQ76952: Production start

Hi,

I have gone through the datasheet of the bq76942 and bq76952 battery monitor and protection ICs and am considering using them for the BMS that I am developing. I see that the products are in the pre-production stage and would like to know the following:

1. When do you expect to start production for both the ICs? In one of the threads in the e2e forum, you have mentioned that you will be starting the production for bq76952 from September end. Is there a date set for it?

2. I see that the preproduction samples are available for both the parts. WIll there be any difference in those samples and the final products in terms of technical specifications?

    Hi Darshil,
    We are still shooting for releasing to the market BQ76952 end of September (9/30/20) and BQ76942 the following month.
    There will be differences between the final parts and the parts currently available on ti.com (check the section 11.1 of the datasheet).
