LMG3410-HB-EVM: Not Able to See Output Voltage/Signal

Hello we are testing our LMG3410-HB-EVM motherboard with LMG3410R150 daughter card. We biased the card then the FAULT LED and AUX_ENABLE LED is ON.

After that we connected the load and we applied 40V from High Voltage Input then HVoltage LED is ON.

We applied PWM Signal with BNC connector. PWM Signal was 0-5V 100kHz square wave.

But there is nothing on the Output (Voltage wise)

Then i measured the Input first. It was 40 V like we applied and also PWM Signal was 0-5V 100kHz square wave.

But at Output there is no signal. What could ve the problem? Waiting for help.

Hello Eren. Try shorting pins 2 and 3 of header J7.

I tried that option but it did not change anything. Any other suggestions

Hello Eren,

The fault light should not be on when you apply the bias supply. For the daughter card, are you trying to power the board using bootstrap power supply or the isolated power supply? If you are trying to power up using bootstrap, then do not connect the isolated power supply board.

If you are trying to connect using isolated power supply, try to disconnect/remove D1 or R2.

Please let us know if the above solves the issue. Also don't apply the high voltage if you see the fault indicator is on.
