TPS51601A: High steady-state duty cycle

Part Number: TPS51601A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS51604

I am planning on using the TPS51601A for driving a bidirectional boost converter.

I was comparing this component to the TPS51604 and in the datasheet of this component it sais "Typical applications yield a steady-state duty cycle of 60% or less. For high steady-state duty cycle applications, including a small external Schottky diode may help to ensure sufficient charging of the bootstrap capacitor."

I may need to go for higher steady-state duty cycles, so does this also applies to the TPS51601A? There is nothing in the datasheet. If so, where exactly should I place this external diode?

Thanks a lot.
