TPS82085: Can EN pin in TPS82085 be left floating for disabling it?

Hi,

Can we leave EN pin not connected or connect to a high-impedance to disable the TPS82085? The DS does say an internal 400kohm pulldown resistor exists but doesn't say the EN can be left no connection for disabling TPS82085.

Hi Pi,

The EN pin on the TPS82085 should never be left floating. The internal pull-down resistor has the function of preventing toggling (switching between enabled and disabled state) if the EN pin is accidentally left floating.
