BQ40Z50-R2: DFW error being set in dataflash

Hi,

As per subject above, we were having customer return unit with DFW, dataflash wearout error on bq40z50-r2 chip. What is causing this error being triggered and is it recoverable?

    Hi,

    This permanent failure occurs if a write to data flash was unsuccessful for any reason. You can try using the PermanentFailureDataReset command (0x0029) to see if it is possible to clear this failure. However, the error may occur again if there is a true dataflash issue in the device.
