I am looking at the LM76002 and I see the note in datasheet section 188.8.131.52 about limiting Cout to 1000uF. I have a 2200uF electrolytic capacitor that will be connected to the output. Might this cause problems?

cause the internal compensation is fixed, so the cross frequency will be low cause the load pole frequency is very low.
please also pay attention to the output current. It will equal to Cout*Vout/tss, tss is softstart time, too fast softstart time will make the current hit the OCP threshold. make sure the inductor is proper choosen in OCP condition.
