For component TPS62240 (DRV Package6-Pin WSON), is that the GND pin (pin 6) of the component recommended for connect to powerpad on the bottom side?

    Hello TiangAik,

    GND pin and PowerPad are required to be connected as short as possible and on the same PCB layer with the device. Refer the recommended layout below for your reference. You can also refer to Sec. 11 of the datasheet for detailed layout guidelines.
