Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61087,
I downloaded the latest version of Tina90 (9.3.200.277) and it does not include a component for the TPS61088. The nearest is TPS61087 which is not compatible.

Dear Sir,
Suggest you use TI-Pspice. You can find the TPS61088 in the lib.
Hi DeePee:
May I know where you get the circuit?
You can try
1-->Find the "TPS61088" in the library
2.--> Right click it
3. --> Choose "Open Reference design", and left click the transient model.
You will receive a entire solution with the surrounding circuit. If you can't find it, never mind, just download by your self: www.ti.com/.../slvmau6
Hi Minqiu,
I have followed your steps and it said:
"INFO(ORCAP-2459): TI model libraries have been updated to the latest version in this design. Refer to the session logs for details of these updates."
It then updated the design which left MODE floating.
If I then try to do a simulation it says the following:
ERROR(ORCAP-15052): Simulation failed because of netlisting errors. Resolve the errors reported in the session log and retry the simulation.
It creates a green circle on the floating MODE pin.
Please advise.
Hi DeePee:
The model works well in my side.
Please share some screen shot with us, including the circuit overview, the simulation settings (Click “Pspice” in the top pannel--> Click "Edit Simulation Profile", and check the "Configuration Files-->Library"), and the error massage as details as possible.
Hi DeePee:
I suspect you are not following what I said previously. You draw the schematic on your own, right?
You can try
1-->Find the "TPS61088" in the library
2.--> Right click it
3. --> Choose "Open Reference design", and left click the transient model.
Hi DeePee:
Even leave Mode pin float, do not delete the net label. Check my screen shot before. (It's the rule from PSpice.)
Hi Deepee:
Yes, you got it. Thanks for your kind words.
Actually, I have no ides why PSpice needs such rule.........
