UCC29002: if CS+- voltage > VDD

Hi sirs,

   My customer designs UCC29002/39002 for load share. I'd like to check if Pin 1/2 (CS+- , 12.5V) can be higher than VDD (pin 3, 12V) in application.

    Hello,

    The data sheet absolute maximum table in section 6 of the data sheet states that VCS+ and VCS- need to be less than VDD+0.3V.  So what you are trying to do will exceed the data sheet absolute maximum voltage rating. 

    If you use Rshunt on the low side sense pin similar to the typical application in the data sheet you can avoid this voltage issue.
