When I studied product datasheet for TPS659037(SLIS165C, SLIS165E and SLIS165G), as far as I came to know, older TPS6590376 and new TPS6590378 are pin compatible. Same thing is with TPS6590377 and TPS6590379. The Power Up sequencing is almost same. Still the TPS6590376/TPS6590377 is not recommended for new designs. What is the exact reason for the upgrade of TPS6590376/7 to TPS6590378/9?
