TPSM84824: Please validate my schematic design.

Part Number: TPSM84824

Hi Team.

I used TPSM84824 to create the schematic. I have inserted the material, so please check it.
Please comment on Schematic. Thank you.

  • Hi Yuichi,

The one comment I have is the AGND pin appears to be connected to the board ground on the main PCB. The AGND pin is connected to PGND through the module so this connection so AGND does not need to be connected to the board ground on the main PCB.

Besides that the values match WEBENCH so it looks good. The one thing to consider if you have space on the board is to add a placeholder Cff cap in parallel with Rfbt in case you need to optimize the transient response. It can be not populated. If you need to try adding it in, a value I would recommend starting with is something in the range of 47 pF to 68 pF. These values will add a zero in the loop between 339kHz and 234kHz.

  • Hi Anthony,

Thank you for your kind reply. I inadvertently connected AGND to GND. I'm glad you checked it out. I inserted the modified schematic.

I felt that the transient response of WEBENCH was a little big. Thank you for your suggestion. In the plan, the 1st prototype is an experimental board, equipped with 47pF, and I will experiment with the board. Fixed to Schematic.

I made a mistake in AGND. I was wondering if there were any other mistakes. I would appreciate it if you could check the modified schematic again.
