TPS3103: Operating Temperature Check

Part Number: TPS3103

Hi Team,

My customer notice TPS31xx family can work in a temperature range of -40℃ to 125℃. But in PACKING INFORMATION section, all the TPS31xx family's op temp is -40℃ to 85℃.

They want to know which one they should take reference? And why is there difference between these two places? I also attach screenshots below.

Best Regards,

Stanley Dai.

  • Hi Stanley,

Thank you for bringing this up to our attention.  Please give me a few days to look into this matter.

    Thanks,

    Ben

  • Hi Stanley,

I have received some information regarding the temp spec for TPS3103.  The datasheet is correct in stating that the operating temp in the packaging information section to be -40C to 85C.  From the revision history, not all of the specs were tested up to +125C.

Base on the information that I received, the customer should use the -40C to +85C as reference.  If the customer wants to use the TPS3103 to +125C, only specs that are labeled as -40C to +125C should be referenced.  All other specs will be reference only to -40C to +85C.

    Thanks,

    Ben
