BQ51013B: BQ51013B CHG/ pin Functionality

Part Number: BQ51013B

Hello,

I'm planning to use the BQ51013B with an external adapter and want to know if I can use the CHG/ output to determine whether the source of power on OUT is wireless or wired (different current capacities).  The datasheet is a bit ambiguous:

CHG : Open-drain output – active when OUT is enabled. Float or tie to PGND if unused.

Will CHG/ pull low only in the presence of a Qi transmitter or will it also pull low when the Adapter PMOS is on and driving OUT?

Thanks,

Steve C
