BQ25616: Question about “SYS” output voltage

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have one question about “SYS” output voltage when my device powered by “power path” with depleted battery.

one of component only can accept 4.3V. and my battery will be max 4.2V.

it seems like output voltage of “SYS” pin will be 4.25V when VREG = 4.2V, is that correct understanding?

Yes, VSYS should be 4.2V + 50mV typically.

Anyway to do simulation or advice what is the max at the Vsys output?

Kpk,

When VBATREG=4.2V, the max battery voltage could be 4.2168V, so VSYS could be 4.2168V + 50mV (typical) = 4.2668V when charge is disabled/terminated.
