LM5005: Magic Smoke at 75V

Hey Team,

I have a customer that has designed a board with the LM5005 and is running it at it's max, 75V. The LM5005s tend to explode after 3-4 times of power up and we can't seem to find the issue.

This seems to have happened to the LM5088 as well (Explodes on first startup).

Could someone take a look? I have a schematic, layout, and Altium files.

Hello

What is you output voltage and load current.

Please send the schematic and layout.

Please check the SW node waveform before the device becomes damaged.

You should also look for any spikes on your input supply.

Since the problem occurs after a short time, it may be a thermal issue.
