Hello guys ,

we are using tps92513Hv IC in DC to Dc driver.

our products specifications input 54V and output 50V/1A . when we are given supply to the buck input ,after that if we are removing and connecting (O/P port) to the load that time ic goes to faulty.

PH pin to Gnd shows short.

connect o/p(Port ) to the load after that we are giving supply to the buck input that time IC is ok . but if we are changing output load during startup condition that time ic goes to faulty.

Hi Sir,

I guess what you mean the "O/P" port is the output port?

What's the signal to the "PDIM" pin?

The right step is to pull down the "PDIM" to low and connect the supply voltage and load, then give the dimming signal to the "PDIM" pin and that should be fine to work correctly

Dear sean,

Yes o/p means output.

At pwm pin we are giving 100% duty cycle .

Actually we are using this ic as 6 channel( 6 dc to dc ) in a single card.

But when we suddenly change the output port in starting condition that time some ic goes damaged.

Hi Chintu,

Before you change the output load, you need to give 0% or pull down the "PDIM" pin and give it the normal PWM signal after the load is ready. Please share your schematic.
