Hi Expert,

LM5156 is evaluating on customer side. There are two question from customer. Could you help us for that? Thanks.

1. The peak Gate driver current is 1.5A, does it mean the sink and source current are all 1.5A?

2. For the frequency spectrum spread, it shows that DRSS could improve the EMI in datasheet. it said that EMI will improve on high frequency. But for low frequency, it can't improve too much. Customer now using 300kHz. They think 300kHz is low frequency. Could you comment on that?

By the way, for the frequency spectrum spread range, can we change the range though DT pin?

    Thanks for reaching out with your questions and for considering the LM5156 in your design.

    1. Yes the source and sink current is 1.5A.

    2. If the customer is taking EMI measurements can you please post them? What is the reduction in emissions with DRSS enabled compared to DRSS not being enabled? The RT pin cannot be used to change the profile of DRSS.
