Hi Experts,

Could you clarify if it is ok to externally load the BP pin?

In Datasheet it is stated that the voltage on this pin was tested within 0 mA < IBP < 15 mA.

    Hi Simon,

    Yes, you can externally load the BP pin, but be careful to make sure thermal rating of device is observed. TPS40210 does not have thermal shutdown protection. Keep in mind also that when TPS40210 is disabled, BP regulator is disabled, so your load may lose its power source.
