Dear Sir,
We Design new 200+ Watt offline forward SMPS. I want to used secondary side synchronous rectification with CCM mode.
Some question related to the use UCC24612 IC in secondary side synchronous rectification.
1) where did you see UCC24612 can be used in forward converter? Also provide application note for forward converter.
2) UCC24612 IC direct driver MOSFET is possible or not? because of IC VG pin output can achieve >1-A peak source current when High and >4-A peak sink current when Low when connected to a large N-channel power MOSFET. But we study one application note (PMP30763) of TI for used UCC24612 IC. But in this application not VG pin voltage is 15 V, Gate resistor of MOSFET 4.7 ohm and internal gate resistor of MOSFET1.3 ohm (Means total gate resistor is 6 ohm) then calculate peak current of MOSFET is 2.5A. But IC gate peak current is 1 A. It is work properly with 2.5A peak current?
3) Not any problem of temperature with this IC used?
