How does one calculate the power dissipation for this part?

    Hi Rahul,

    Power dissipation is calculated by the operating voltage and the IDD current going through the device.  Power for the TPS3808 is defined as VDD * IDD.   Also, you may want to include the power dissipation of the /RESET pin if a fault condition occurs.  The calculation for the power dissipation of the /RESET pin will depend on what pull-up resistor you will using which sets the current that goes into the pin.  The voltage for the power calculation will be the voltage seen at /RESET pin.
