LP8501: Out of Spec operation implications

Hello,

in some cases the supply in our system can drop to 2.5V. We know that this is out of spec and don't expect the device to meet the datasheet.

As this only occurs rarely we still want to understand the implications of it.

What might fail first as supply voltage decreases, for instance not being able to achieve the desired boost voltage, failure of I2C interface, out of spec power consumption, not being able to meet some specs over the full temperature range, etc. ?

Might there be some LEDs not working?

    Here is a bench result when LP8501 working at VIN=2.5V. The UVLO voltage have some buffer on datasheet so that IC can still be alive when VIN drop to 2.5V. But we cannot guarantee it totally safe since ATE do not cover VIN=2.5 during manufacture.
