TPS62135: Efficiency and undershoot

Hi,

We can't find the efficiency curve for the case of VIN=5V/VOUT=1V. Can we have the efficiency number under such scenario when Iload is 0A/1A/2A/3A/4A respectively?

In parallel, we're using these chips for two cases as below. Please help us to judge if the undershoot value is reasonable or not.

Case1: VIN=3.3V/VOUT=1.2V

Case2: VIN=5V/VOUT=1V

Hi Antony,

Please refer to Section 10.2.1.3 Application Curves of the datasheet, Figures 6-8 for closest efficiency data. Can you provide additional information about the load transient waveforms and load step? What kind and magnitude of load is being applied?

Regarding the efficiency curve, we did cross check Figure6~8 previously from the datasheet, but the customer needs the curve for Vout=1V case. Is there any way to get related simulation result?

Regarding the load transient waveform, the current load is 4A from an e-load.

Hi Antony,

We do have simulations for this part available under the Design and Development section. I recommend trying the load transient again using a passive resistor and providing the following waveforms.
