Hi Manjunath:
The load is too heavy for TPS61222. I will recommend the TPS61099.
Hi Minqiu,
Please explain, I'm new to Boost converter. Actually load requirement is not more than 0.2A.
Hi Manjunath:
The current limit of TPS61222 is only 200mA min. If the load is 0.2A, it will exceed it. The calculation can be checked in datasheet, Equation 2.
Hi Minqiu,
After all checking the current consumption of the device "ISO224ADWVR" & "TLV9001IDCKR"
max current consumption can be 120mA max.
I can use TPS61222 only right?
Hi Manjunath:
You can do the calculation with Equation 2 in datasheet.
IMax=Vo*Io/Vin/0.8+100mA=5*120/3.3/0.8+100=327mA.
I'll recommend TPS61099
Hi Manjuath:
The TPS610995 is fixed Vout version. You can choose the TPS61099.
And for the inductance, just make sure it has enough current capability.
Hi Minqiu,
1. What is the issue with fixed output as we require 5V out.
2. I have mention the part number for Inductor also, Kindly review.
Hi:
Yes, you can use the right version for fixed output. And the FB should be connected proper, no feedback resistance.
For the inductance, I'm not sure if you are using the same part with what I searched from vendor. If it's the same, then it's OK.
Yes Understand, So "TPS61099DRVR" can I go with this and is this part is available for future 5Years ?
Hi Manjunath:
You can contact with Customer Service or find the info here: www.ti.com/.../reliability-home.html
And the TPS61099 is adjustable version, it still needs the feedback resistance.
