TLV62569: TLV62569DBV's VIH and ViL(min/max)

Part Number: TLV62569

Hi Team,

From TLV62569DBV datasheet, we don't see minimum value of VIH and maximum value of VIL. Do we have minimum value of VIH and maximum value of  VIL?

Our customer wants to consider several parts' p2p replacement. These difference may affect the power sequence.

For UVLO, if re-powered from 0V, what is UVLO's threshold? 2.4V(typ.) and 2.55V(max.)?

Thanks!

  • Hello Marvin,

To ensure the correct logic behavior of the device, EN pin needs to have a minimum of 1.2V (VIH) to enable the device and lower than or equal to 0.4V (VIL) to disable it to cover the entire Vin, Temperature, and process variations. Having the minimum and max values of the VIH and VIL, respectively will not be helpful to the customer because it does not assure the proper EN logic will be achieved.

To turn-on the device, Vin needs to be at least 2.5V to cover the temperature and process variations. Lowering the input voltage to 2.4V can trigger UVLO and turns off the device. The 100mV hysteresis is only a typical value that can vary (+/-) from parts to parts and due to temperature deviation.

    Best regards,
