TLV741P: UVLO for different outputs of TLV741P

Part Number: TLV741P

I want to use TLV74133 and have one question about UVLO level.
Am I right, that UVLO level is common for different outputs of TLV741 and it is 1.4V? For example, for LDO TLV74133 and for TLV74118 this level is 1.4V? It very important for me because I want to use TLV74133 mostly in Dropout Operation mode down to 2.0V and rarely in Normal Operational mode. In datasheet I couldn't find clear explanation about it.

Best regards,
Gaidashyov Sergei.

  • Hi Gaidashyov,

Bandgap references are typically 1.2V.  The 1.4V is likely the minimum voltage necessary to exceed the UVLO threshold to turn the device on.  You can use the TLV74133 down to 2V, as shown in figure 26.  Even though figure 26 uses a different internal resistor divider network to achieve a different output voltage, you will still see 2V on the output with the TLV74133 if you are operating in dropout.
