TPS7A03: What is the max input enable high pin voltage?

Hi team,

The VEN(HI) - EN pin logic high voltage- is specified in the datasheet as 1.1 V minimum, but what is the maximum, Vin? I see it is not specified. Any recommendations for a higher limit? I know the abs max for input voltages is around 6-6.3V, would it be safe to be right under that?

Hi Lauren,

The abs max section defines the maximum for EN:

In this case the maximum is the same as Vin, so being right under 6-6.3V for VEN is fine.

Hi Nick,

Is that for logic high though? If you look at page 7 on the datasheet, it shows a minimum of 1.1V for logic high.

Hi Lauren,

I'm not sure I understand the question. The VEN(high) is specified as a minimum because any voltage above 1.1V is considered a logic high. VEN(low) is specified as a maximum because any voltage less than the 0.3V is considered a logic low.
