BQ24600EVM: not charging BATTERY and STAT blinking 0.5hz

Dear Sir,

We got BQ24600EVM and test it. BQ24600EVM is not charging and STAT blinking 0.5Hz.

We just change R14 to 500K and R15 100K. another setting are not changed.

could you help advise me why STAT pin is blinking 0.5Hz?

VIN: 20V

BATTERY: 12.6 V , 20A (3Cell -3S1P)

Hi Dexter,

Can you source a valid voltage on the TS pin (referred to as PS#2 in user guide and set to 1.8V)? STAT blinking indicates a fault, and one possibility is a TS fault.

I don't source on the TS pin.

if TS is not used. how to set TS pin.

Hi Dexter,

You can use an external voltage source to source 1.8V on TS. Or you can replace R11 with a 10k ohm resistor.
