Here is schematic using TPS61088, do you have idea how can improve DC-DC efficiency?

Dear Sir,

You can improve the efficiency in the below way:

1. Use better inductor, with very low DCR and small core loss;

2. Use low operation frequency, setting the frequency at fsw=400kHz can achieve higher efficiency than with fsw= 600kHz or even higher frequency;

3. Use 4-layer pcb with big GND copper plane can help the thermal hence better efficiency.

What is your Vin/Vo/Io?

Currently we get about 90% efficiency.

Hi Ivan,

If you choose a low operation frequency, the efficiency can be higher than 92-93%.
