LM2733: Inquiries related Setting the Output Voltage of LM2733YMF/NOPB

Part Number: LM2733

Hi. experts.

my customer is using LM2733YMF/NOPB.

In datasheet 8.2.2.6 it is shown below.

A value of approximately 13.3 kΩ is recommended for R2 to establish a divider current of approximately 92 µA.

Can you see detailed reasons for recommending 13.3kΩ?

What are the benefits of using 13.3KΩ?

thanks

regards

  • Hi Robin,

Normally we will set the feedback divider current higher than 100 times of feedback pin bias current. The typical value of LM2733 feedback pin bias current is 60nA. However, datasheet didn't mention the maximum feedback pin bias current. I would suggest customer follow the recommendation first.
