Dear,

I wan to use BQ24075 to use in my design for battery charge management(using 3.7V battery).

I am little confused in picked regulator, Please help in picking the right regulator.

My requirements:

Input : 2.8(battery) to 5.5(BQ24075),

Output required : VOUT = 3.3V,max current = 1A.

Can I go with TPS79633-Q1 to regulate for the whole input voltage range?

    Hi,

    I'm a bit confused about the input voltage. Are you saying the input to the TPS79633-Q1 can be either 2.8V or 5.5V and you want to regulate to 3.3V in both cases? If this is the case, this will not work with a single LDO unless it has an integrated charge pump because a regular linear regulator cannot regulate 2.8V to 3.3V.
