Hey there,

so I'd really like to use a non-latching push button to enable a(ny) Buck converter for our project.

I have read the TI Push Button Application Report (SCEA048B) but don't want to use such extensive circuitry in our tiny, portable device.

Apart from the TPS65287, is there no other possibility for a simple, easy, cheap solution to include a push button to enable and disable a buck converter?

Hi,

Actually push-button chips not belongs to our BU, but I found TPS3422 may be ok, you can check it.

And if not proper, you can submit a new thread with "push button request...." title to try get help with related BU.

Thank you, I had a glance over it but was not certain whether it meets the requirements. I will try it out and report back, after checking 8.2.1 in its datatsheet. thank you!

Actually, yeah TPS3422 doesn't solve the issue because I don't want it to reset with a timer but with user input. Basically I am looking for a button debouncer..

You can submit a new thread with "button debouncer with TPS3422" and dedicated engineer will support this.
