TPS23754: Question about #17 pin(APD)

I don't use a #17pin(APD)

Is there any difference in function between open and gnd connection of 17pin?
What method do you recommend?

Hello,

Ground it absolutely. This is in the datasheet.

If it is left open the voltage could rise up enough to see APD function - shut off internal pass FET. You do not want this happening randomly in your circuit.
