LM73606-Q1: Inquiry about the inductor value of LM73606-Q1 and VIN pin Bulk-Cap

Part Number: LM73606-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM73606

A customer company constructed a circuit using the LM73606-Q1, and I have a few questions regarding it.

-INPUT: 5V, OUTPUT 4V , 6A

In the attached circuit diagram, I used 4.7uH of the inductor, and when I contacted E2E, I received a reply saying that there was no problem.

I have already pressed 'Resolved' to the E2E question, so I don't think there will be a reply, so I ask again.

If you calculate with the inductor calculation formula of the Datasheet,

It is about 0.9uH~2.7uH.

(Questions)

1. As mentioned above, please double check that there is no problem even if you apply 4.7uH.

2. If you look at the Datasheet, there is a content related to adding Bulk-Cap to the VIN pin. Is it necessary?

If applied, is there an appropriate capacity value?  100uF or lower capacity possible?

  • Hi Gradly,

This looks like a duplicate post that Arief had recently answered in today's E2E reply.

Because of this I will be closing this thread.
