Hi,

Wanted to know the maximum no. of LEDs this driver can support. My display has 11 LEDs in one series & 4 of those in parallel, so in total 44 LEDs.

Display part no. is OSD101T3762-81TS & the internal circuit is attached.

Hi Kumara,

How about the supply voltage? From the power spec side of view, I think TPS61500 would be a good choice. But of course, if you can provide more detail requirement like below:

1. Supply voltage range?

2. Dimming requirement?

Thanks Sean for your quick response.

I have attached the complete datasheet of the display. Please suggest if the driver is OK for this display backlight. Dimming requirement is not a major concern.

Hi Kumara,

I still recommend the TPS61500 first, but you still haven't provided the supply voltage range. If you could make sure this that would be more helpful for me to give you a more suitable device.

Power input to LED driver is 5V.

Hi Kumara,

TPS61169 would be another cost-optimized option. But TPS61500 has better thermal performance.
