The reporting in cWh vs mAh depends on CAPM bit.You are able to change reporting by changing bit value of CAPM. This feature is provided to avoid overflow condition.for higher capacity batteries.

As I understood from BQ40z50 reference manual that CAPM bit changes the units of different variables between mAh and cWh, not mWh vs cWh. Please check the screen shot. And this feature is needed when choosing the load as constant power. I faced the issue of the overflow while logging with bqStudio (while CAPM = 1). And it took me several days and tests to figure out the issue.

For extra clarification, the issue of the overflow is in the software only, bqStudio, not in the bq40z50 fw. As it been confirmed by the raw data (in the previous post) and in the "Advanced Comm SMB" tab by reading word from 0x0f.
