LMR36506-Q1: MODE pin pull up to VCC or VOUT

Hi team,

I plan to pull up MODE pin to set Auto mode.

Should I pull it up to VOUT (3.3V use case) or VCC?

Is there any concern if I pull up either of the supplies?

*MODE pin is connected to VCC on top of the datasheet simplified schematic.

I concern about the description in the datasheet as below

1. VCC should not be loaded externally,

2. Don't float MODE pin.

    Hi Shinji,

    The Mode pin can be pulled up to either VCC or VOUT.

    1. It is not a problem to use VCC as a logic high signal.

    2. Mode pin will not be floating if tied to VCC or VOUT.

    If you use VOUT, make sure it is less than 5.5V.
