PTB48560A: Need UL/EN 62638-1 Safety Regulation Compliance for TI's Parts# PTB48560A, PTB48560B and PTB48560C

What is the reason of no activity to get EN 62638-1 its expired EN 60950-1 for TI's product of PTB48560AAZ, PTB48560BAZ, PTB48560CAZ?

Hi Jason,

Although it is NRND, but TI still support the existing customer and sell the products. Thus, the updated certification EN 62638-1 to replace the expired EN 60950-1 still be required.  So, hope TI  can help on this new safety regulation compliance requirements.  This is urgent for us to ship the products.  Thanks!

Thanks for elevate this request to get it resolved.  We appreciate if can get it resolved by today as the EN 60950-1 for PTB48560AAZ, PTB48560BAZ, PTB48560CAZ is expired after today. This is urgent to ship out the TI products out to EU country tomorrow.  I am waiting 24 hours here to get a resolution.   Thanks!

I'm sorry, but I'm sure this will not be resolved by tomorrow. I'm sure that getting the updated certification takes time. I have elevated the request.  I will let you know when I hear something.

I am fully understood that it will take time, but the updated certification of EN 62638-1 is enforced and mandate by Dec 20, 2020.  How fast the EN 62638-1 can be obtained?

It is not your problem , but the certification has problem.  I appreciate your help to get it resolved and elevated this case.

While waiting to get the update certification of EN 62638-1 for PTB48560AAZ, PTB48560BAZ, PTB48560CAZ, could you please to get a letter from TI to show these parts are currently in process to update their old EN 60950-1 to new EN 62638-1? This may work as workaround temporarily.
