TPS7A20: The datasheet's .pdf is corrupt

Part Number: TPS7A20

Hi dear people,

I have big problems with the datasheet of the TPS7A20, located on

https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps7a20.pdf?ts=1608278569773&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FTPS7A20

It is not well compiled and it is very difficult, even impossible to work with. It completely blocks my computer and it never downloads all the pages.

Could you please take a look at it?

Thank you very much!!!

I wish you a good Christmas time,

Gustavo

  • Hi Gustavo,

I just downloaded the datasheet, and I am not seeing any missing pages. I am reattaching the datasheet here, and will you let us know what is missing?

  • Hi Jason,

    thanks for reacting so quick.

I downloaded your attachment and it is still the same problem:

Missing many pages, starting at page 16.

But it is a random problem which, at the end blocks the whole system (mac). Sometimes I get to see a page and if I scroll back in the document, I miss others. After trying a couple of times, the viewer crashes. It is, for sure, related to this specific pdf, then every other file is working fine on my computer.

I know this problem from some other data-sheets from Ti. Cannot say exactly what cause this, but it is related to the charts and diagrams. Somehow by the conversion to .pdf are those images too complicated for the compiler, I guess.

If you can see all the pages, would you be so kind to reprint the pdf as a new file with reduced resolution? Maybe this solve the problem.

    best regards,

    Gustavo

  • Hi Jason,

I succeeded on making a new version, which work!

I could open it in Microsoft Edge (where it works very slowly) and made a "print to pdf" with the W10-utility. The file is now bigger, but it works also on Mac.

Here it is, in case somebody else was having the same problem.

    Best regards,

    Gustavo
